As an instructional designer, I have over 16 years experience creating training programs for computer-based delivery. Most of the programs I currently develop are designed and optimized to run via the Internet. This includes the following tasks:

Standard eLearning Package

This package includes development of Flash-based eLearning course modules, including navigation, script, graphics, testing and animation (where appropriate). Development of the course will initially be done within PowerPoint and then converted to Flash via the Articulate suite of products. This method provides a robust interactive environment within a much shorter development time. It also allows for easier content review via PowerPoint file.

Deliverables

This package includes the following deliverables:

• Topic Research
• Learning objectives
• Script and graphics within original PowerPoint file
• Completed interactive course in Flash
• End of module assessment test(s)
• Navigational frame and menu
• Keyword search
• SCORM-compliant XML indexing files

Milestones

This package includes the following key milestones:

• Initial project meeting (can be phone or email)
• Course learning objectives and outline
• First draft of course in PowerPoint
• Second draft of course in PowerPoint
• Completed Flash-based course
• Revised Flash-based course

As indicated above, development of the course includes a total of four review cycles: 1) learning objectives and outline, 2) first draft of course in PowerPoint, 3) second draft of course in PowerPoint, and 4) review of completed flash-based course. PowerPoint-based drafts include both text and graphics. Flash-based review includes navigation and animation. A text version of the module assessment test is included with the first draft of the course in PowerPoint. Changes may be made to the test during any review cycle. Additional review cycles can be purchased (see pricing schedule below).

Pricing Structure

The pricing structure for this package is based on a standard 45-minute eLearning module, with discounting applied for multiple modules or modules greater than 45 minutes. (Note: It’s recommend that modules running more than 45 minutes be split into two or more smaller modules.)

• 45 Minute Module - $3000
• 90 Minute Module(s) - $5500
• 120 Minute Module(s) - $8000
• Additional review cycles - $125 per cycle
• Audio narration - $400 per module
• Video segments - $250 per 10 minute segment
